Our Company
Since our incorporation in 1921 by founding brothers Phillip and Carl Leff, National Spinning Co., Inc., has set the world standard for spun yarns. Throughout the years, National Spinning Co., Inc. has been a leader in the textile industry by setting and maintaining the highest standards of quality, service, and innovation. This tradition and commitment to excellence continues to drive us in today's competitive world marketplace.
Originally a worsted wool spinner, National Spinning Co., Inc. now operates multiple manufacturing facilities in the southeastern United States, spinning, dyeing, and packaging yarn, with sales representation across North America and beyond.
Today, with five manufacturing sites and a dedicated team of owner-associates, we produce and merchandise a broad range of market-leading yarns for contemporary knits, woven fabrics, and home crafts. Our customers have access to an assortment of blends, counts, and colorations for apparel, home fashions, industrial products, and handicrafts. Both dyed and raw white yarns are offered, spun on either long or short staple spinning systems. In addition, we are now package dying a variety of different filament yarns. Especially well-known for our high quality, market leading dyed acrylic and acrylic blend yarns, we also spin and dye many other fiber blends, including polyester, wool, rayon, and technical fibers.
In 1994, National Spinning Co., Inc. became an employee-owned company through an employee stock-ownership plan (ESOP). Our entire team of dedicated owner-associates is focused upon long-term profitability through commitment to the quality, service, reliability, flexibility, and competitive pricing that our customers demand.
