National Spinning to participate in upcoming trade events

Friday, August 1st, 2014

National Spinning will be participating in two upcoming trade events and would be pleased to speak with supply-chain partners at each of these.

The first is the Walmart 2014 U.S. Manufacturing Summit, taking place in Denver, CO on August 14-15, 2014.  There, we hope to meet with raw material suppliers, customers, brands, and Walmart executives.  National Spinning will feature its continuing ability to provide manufacturers, retailers, and consumers with high quality, high value, timely goods that originate in our North Carolina, USA plants.  US-made yarns and other components add a multiplicative value to the economic well-being of companies, communities, consumers, and the overall US gross domestic product.  We loudly applaud Walmart for their efforts to increase purchases of domestically-produced merchandise.

The second trade event we will attend is the National Safety Council Congress & Expo, taking place in San Diego in September 2014.  We will be walking the show all three days, Monday, September 15 through Wednesday, September 17.  This impressive gathering includes buyers and sellers of industrial safety equipment, including protective clothing, barrier fabrics, and much more.  With hundreds of exhibitors and thousands of visitors, the Expo is an important venue for networking, sourcing, and product-development.  We look forward to meeting with several of our technical-fiber suppliers and customers, including those who deal with meta-aramids, oxidized PAN, modacrylic, and other flame retardant products.  Downstream users include workwear, military, and contract markets.  Please click here if you would like to schedule a meeting at the Expo.
